Custom R&B Song
A custom R&B song fits best when the gift is a love song - R&B is the genre where "this is for you" is almost the whole brief. A soulful vocal, a slow groove, lyrics that get specific about one person. Written from your story, ready in minutes.
Crear su canciónWhat a Custom R&B Song Sounds Like
R&B leans on a soulful lead vocal and a smooth, often slow groove. The style covers classic 90s R&B, neo-soul, and more modern alt-R&B. For a love song, something slow and warm usually fits best. For a celebration song (a birthday, a party), a mid-tempo groove with more swing works.
The /samples page has at least one R&B sample on it - a good way to hear the audio quality before you brief your own.
When R&B Fits as the Gift Style
The clearest fit is a love song for a partner. For Valentine's Day (/valentines-day), an anniversary (/anniversaries), a proposal (/proposal), or a wedding song for the couple (/weddings), R&B often lands as the most emotionally direct choice.
It also works for a 30th birthday or a milestone where the recipient is specifically into R&B. If they're not, pick a style that matches what they'd queue themselves - the gift is best when it sounds like a song they'd save.
What to Put in the Brief
R&B lyrics do well with intimacy and specific moments - the first time you knew, a line they said once that you never forgot, the small physical details only a partner notices. Share the real material; the vocal style will carry it.
Preguntas frecuentes
Can it be upbeat R&B, not a slow jam?
Yes. Mention "upbeat R&B" or "party R&B" in the brief and the tempo moves accordingly. A revision is included in every package if the first version lands too slow or too fast.
Can the vocal be male or female?
Yes - the brief lets you pick the vocal style. Share who the song is from and who it's to; the pairing usually picks itself.
What if R&B isn't quite right - more like neo-soul?
Mention "neo-soul" explicitly in the brief and the song moves in that direction. The style sliders are pretty responsive to specific sub-genre names.
